Alexis is responsible for the day-to-day
management of the practice and will deal with any
problems or queries concerning the practice. She
will be happy to hear your comments - good or bad.
Our efficient teams of receptionists
are led by Mrs Elaine Hatch at Bedwell Medical
Centre and Roebuck Surgery.
The receptionists have a difficult job to do but are here to help you. When booking your appointment you may be asked a few details to help the receptionist assess the urgency of your request, which in turn enables the doctor or nurse to deal with your problem efficiently. Please do not be offended by this, as all details are kept in strictest confidence and all our reception staff are trained accordingly.
District nurses are attached to the practice and are for
the nursing needs of patients at home.

Health visitors are available for help
and advice on many aspects of health care, including
care of expectant mothers, infants, the elderly and the
handicapped. The health visitors are attached to the
practice and have an office at Southgate House.

Community midwives offer advice to patients on all
aspects of antenatal and postnatal care. Clinics are run
at the surgery, one day a week.
